Importer vs. Exporter vs. Distributor
An exporter sells product out of its home country or region to buyers abroad, handling export documentation and often the initial leg of shipping. An importer is the buyer-side party that brings product into a destination country, clears customs, and is legally responsible for import compliance there. A distributor may do either or both, plus hold local cold storage and resell to smaller buyers. We operate as a European-based exporter and wholesale distributor, shipping cold-chain to buyers worldwide.
